Formed in 2001, WRANGLER BRUTES are Sam McPheeters (BORN AGAINST, MEN'S RECOVERY PROJECT), Brooks Headley (BORN AGAINST, UNIVERSAL ORDER OF ARMAGEDDON, SKULL KONTROL), Andy Coronado (MONORCHID, SKULL KONTROL, NAZTI SKINZ) and Cundo Si Murad (NAZTI SKINZ, DEATH DRUG). In the span of nine months, the band has sold over 1,000 copies of their cassette only debut album on a strictly retail basis, selling tapes on tour and through the band's website

18 new songs. Recorded in Chicago by Steve Albini. Vocal cameos by Chris Thomson (CIRCUS LUPUS, MONORCHID) and Keith Morris (BLACK FLAG, CIRCLE JERKS). LP vinyl to be pressed concurrently on Wrangler Brutes records.

This album changed my life. It shaped my tastes in so many ways, and not least of which by helping to set me straight on punk. I didn't even know about d-beat in my teens, and this was the first album I heard that featured it right in your fucking face. I was also in the process of leaving my hometown; deciding where to go, what to do. It helped me make the right decision.
